USANA CEO Dave Wentz announced today that USANA has acquired BabyCare Ltd, a direct selling company based in Beijing with operations in 21 cities and 16 provinces. BabyCare develops, manufactures, and sells high-quality nutritional products for the entire family with an emphasis on infant nutrition. The company’s products are sold through a growing distributor sales force using a commission-based compensation plan.

As one of only 25 companies operating with a direct selling license in China, BabyCare offers USANA a unique opportunity to accomplish its objective of entering this lucrative market. With more than 11 years of experience in China, BabyCare brings USANA valuable knowledge of the country’s direct sales industry. And, importantly, USANA will have the ability to expand into China via BabyCare.

Rank Advancement Runs Begin with Team Effort

USANA has created leadership levels to help direct Associates short-term goals and establish milestones to help them measure their progress. Each leadership level is earned as they product specific volume requirements. The levels of leadership are defined below. Upon reaching each level, Associate will receive a lapel pin, certificate, and worldwide recognition. The leadership ranks of Silver and above get even more incentives including re-entries, all-expense paid trips to exciting destinations. The ranks of Gold and above are eligible for the lucrative weekly leadership bonuses.

Rising Stars in Quezon City

Many Filipinos talk about their very busy lives.  Mon Casas is an example of a Filipino who is VERY BUSY.  Like amny people. Mon’s job is very demanding. He’s always working overtime and gets home late at night. Many times he works on Saturday. Mon also spends several days a week serving his church by conducting several important activities.

Even though Mon is significantly busy he manages his time to build USANA part-time.  One of the success habits new Associates will learn from leaders in USANA is how to build a part-time USANA business during a hetic schedule. Mon is an excellent student and constantly emerges himself in self-development. Mon fits his USANA activities within nook and crannies of his day. He also leverages his time by asking his team for help. Another thing Mon understands is the business model of USANA. He understands that the more people that are trained to enroll customers then the more he leverages his time. So even though he might only spend 10 hours personally building his business, his ENTIRE organization might be spending 40 hours a week. People who understand this concept make most of the income in the world…Train others to get more done.

One of the keys to success to a USANA business is to hold consistent meetings. If you are holding consistent weekly meetings it means that you are sharing the USANA vision and training many people. You are touching the lives of many people by improving their health.  Another key to success is to work together as a team and help eachother present.  In the pictures below, Mon is conducting a health seminar about making proper lifestyle changes and USANA’s advanced line of nutritional products. As usual we always find time to have fun.  The business becomes a lot of fun when you work with a great fun team. Normally we use these apples to demonstrate the antioxidant power of USANA’s Mega Antioxidant in the apple test. But this time the apples were put through a much different test. USANA Baguio Explosion

Team XLR8 has been sharing USANA’s products quite often in the Baguio area. The people of Baguio have embraced learning about health, nutrition, and the USANA difference.  Joy Carolino is the team’s point person in Baguio.  Joy entered USANA through the products. She used to have several health problems that would keep her from doing a lot of her favorite activities. When she started taking USANA products she noticed improvements in her health. Many people in Baguio have known Joy for a long time. Therefore they instantly nocticed the improvements in Joy’s health.  So they would ask her what she is doing differently.  Joy has been working around the clock to set up meetings or people to learn more about USANA.

In the last few years we’ve seen many companies go out of business and many people lose their jobs. However, when you start the right home-based business then the opposite occurs.  Health and wellness is a growing trend that will become a trillion dollar industry in the next few years (Paul Zane Pilzer “The Wellness Revolution”).  That is why USANA Health Sciences and our team continue to grow.

USANA reported record sales again during this recession. Their profit more than doubled in the fourth quarter.  USANA’s performance beat Wall Street Analyst estimates.

Our Team Enters Vigan

The vision of Dr. Myron Wentz, the founder of USANA, is spreading quickly through out the Philippines.  Team XLR8 is now sharing the vision of health in the city of Vigan.  We had an exciting day of meetings. There was a great response to learn about how USANA’s products can improve people’s health.

Team XLR8 Meets USANA’s CEO and Scientist

This week USANA’s CEO Dave Wentz visited the Philippines.  Dave was awarded the top 21 CEO under 40 in America.  He is an active member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA), where he has served in a variety of roles, including chairman of the Direct Selling Education Foundation and vice-chairman of the DSA board. Currently, Dave is serving as chairman of the DSA board.

Dave spent the afternoon with the many of the leaders. He took the time out to have lunch with everyone.  Lunch was at a fantastic Filipino restaurant in Greenbelt.

At night, there was an event open for all USANA Associates.  It was a formal dinner with Dave Wentz.  Everyone got at opportunity to take a picture with Dave in the beginning of the night.  There were teams from all over the Philippines that came to this event.

There was an incredible dinner buffet as we watched Dave give a presentation.  He gave everyone great words of wisdom.  He talked about how successful USANA was so far in the Philippines and also talked about the bright future for many, many years to come.

In the same week the team also had an opportunity to meet a USANA scientist, Executive Vice President of Research & Development, Dr. Tim Wood.  Dr. Wood took a few hours to stand on stage to answer all our questions about USANA’s products.  It was nice to interact with a person who actually assembles the products.  it was a real treat for the Associates who took the time to ask great questions to learn more about USANA’s product line.

Teamwork Equals Rank Advancements

John and Jojo have been entering USANA orders all night while they contacted potential customers and business partners.  They were also helping team members enter their orders.  Jojo and his wife Blessa were going for a rank advancement of Silver Director as they led their team members towards rank advancements as well.

It was 5:30am on Saturday in the Philippines.  Gold Director John Goerlitz was ready to go to bed.  “Good night” he said to Jojo.  Jojo said “Good night”.  A few hours later John woke up and found Jojo in his office with the same clothes still on.  He never went to bed!

This was a great story of determination and triumph.  It showed that even though there were a lot of challenges anything could happen with the right mindset, effort, and team support.  Everyone can overcome obstacles.

There were MAJOR challenges during Blessa and Jojo’s Silver run.   Typhoon Ondoy hit the Philippines just before their rank advancement run.  Then the unthinkinkable happened, a second typhoon hit several days later.  Lights were flickering as tons of water fell from the sky.  “You should hear how hard the rain is coming down now” said John.  Floods were starting all over again.  Gold Director John Goerlitz has not had any running water for two weeks.  “I’ve had to take showers at the mall and fetch my drinking water”  He states.

Does USANA stop?  No!!  Sometimes life presents us with challenges that prevent us from reaching our goals.  But people can find ways to overcome obstacles.  Yes, there were guests that cancelled their appointments because of the storm.  But successful people think differently and find ways despite challenges. Instead of quitting, Jojo and Blessa and the team decided to talk to more people and find people that would travel in the rain and attend the meetings.

The result was an extraordinary week.  Not only did the team overcome the challenges presented by the typhoons but they accomplished monumental goals in USANA.  Their were many rank advancements and income earners.  The following are photos of the weekly reports from USANA’s system:
